Announce for WordPress

Prerequisites

1. WordPress site (wordpress.org)
2. Announce account (announce.layeredy.com)

Automatic installation:

1. In your WordPress admin panel, go to Plugins > Add New

2. Search for Layeredy Announce in the search bar

3. Click Install Now and then Activate

4. Click on the Settings link for the Announce plugin or go to Settings > Announce

5. Enter your API Key from your Announce account

   Warning: Make sure you install the extension from the account "layeredysoftware" and not from any other account.

Manual installation:

1. Download the latest Announce for WordPress plugin from here
2. In your WordPress admin panel, go to Plugins > Add New
3. Click Upload Plugin and select the downloaded .zip file
4. Click Install Now and then Activate
5. Click on the Settings link for the Announce plugin or go to Settings > Announce
6. Enter your API Key from your Announce account (you can find these in your Announce dashboard)
7. Click Save Changes

You finished! Now you can view your announcement bar via the front-end.
